Marking half a century in the business, the world-renowned Caesars Palace will host an exciting weekend of events from Friday August 5th, exactly five decades since it first opened its doors in 1966.
The weekend’s events will commence with a celebratory pool party for hotel guests, hosted by Gordon Ramsey at the picturesque Garden of the Gods pool oasis.
During the evening, the winner of the 50th Anniversary Nationwide Cocktail competition will be revealed, followed by a free public fireworks display at 22:20.
The festivities will continue over the weekend with a host of famous faces including Tony Bennett, Howie Mandel, Wayne Newton, Donny and Marie Osmond, Matt Goss and The Righteous Brothers all headlining the anniversary gala.
On Saturday August 6th, Caesars Palace will host a Grand Gala event for invited VIP guests, headlined by Tony Bennett, the second performer to ever appear at the Maximum Showroom and the only entertainer to be offered a lifetime contract to perform at the hotel.
“Since opening in 1966, Caesars Palace has set the standard for the Las Vegas experience,” said Mark Frissora, chief executive of Caesars Entertainment.
“Caesars Palace became an iconic brand by continually transforming its hospitality, entertainment and gaming products. Our focus on innovation continues as we look ahead to the next fifty years of industry leadership.”
