Default Totally confused by new listing system!

    Hi all,

first time poster here. I'm an enrolled friend and I was a pro at the old listing system but the new one confuses me. How can you tell the charges for listings? It often says $0.00 but I can't believe that's right because it does that when I'm looking at flight for IAD-LHR or IAD-LAX. Also it won't let me choose the means of payment (it did once but ever since then, no dice). I was excited about the prospect of not having to use payroll deduct. Any help very much appreciated!

    Thanks!

I'm assuming that you're with UA (or the employee is) - that's always good to know, since we have employees from many different airlines here

Enrolled friends are free in economy domestically or on flights from the US. If there are departure taxes, those are charged when you are leaving other countries. You can only check that by going through a listing and waiting to see what it quotes you, unfortunately. All that remains is imputed income - unfortunately, I don't see any way to look at that as of yet, but if you do let me know! That's always kind of an estimation anyway...

I read the United is working on getting the imputed income numbers back into the system. Hopefully soon so we have some type of idea of what our enrolled friends would have to pay.

Friendenrolled, it was probably 0.00 to fly to LHR because the cost is coming back from LHR, You might try LHR to IAD and I bet you get a charge. I believe the new system charges you towards the end of listing. I flew United to Belgium a couple of weeks ago and it was no cost, but returning (exit taxes) there was a charge. Enrolled friend would pay the taxes up front but your employee friend would get charged the imputed income (on domestic or international flights) in their paycheck.
