I flew UA as a zed last month and was given a seat in Economy Plus even though the flight was wide open in both Economy and Plus. I think it really depends on the agent.
Absolutely. I got Business Class on Emirates from MXP- DXB. It solely depends on the AGENT. I showed my OAL badge and smiled..lol
Yup! As far as NRSA goes, Economy Plus is just as good as an economy seat, including for ZEDs. Most of the agents believe in nonrev karma, but if needed go ahead and try a smile, asking nicely, and maybe some chocolates on the counter

By the way, are you going off the seat map? You really should ask around here for real loads. That's just the seats that are reserved, which doesn't happen for every booking. An open seat map means nothing until check in has closed.

Thanks for the info everyone. Where do I ask for seat info? I WAS just going off the map. I am flying IAD to FRA on December 9.
