Anybody here from JNU?
I'm planning on going to JNU for a day trip in a couple of weeks, is this a busy time of year? Will I have a hard time getting in and out on a ZED (Yay! We finally have them!)? I'm planning on coming in Wed. 8/14 and flying out Thurs. 8/15. Also, are there any places to camp near the airport? Otherwise, I just plan on sleeping in the airport but I'd love to camp out if there is somewhere easy to get to either by bus or walking. (I'm a super budget traveler, what can I say?)
Browneyes, where are you traveling from? MRSDS1DONNA is point on all things Alaska. While you’re waiting for her to check in, do a quick search. There are a couple of threads having to do with non-revving to Alaska.
