And the # of nonstop options on AA from JFK to the Caribbean continue to dwindle... replaced by that 'Blue' airline.
Not really. The killing off of the JFK-Caribbean routes as well as shutting down the former SJU hub/focus city began before bankruptcy and merger talk. Granted, the Caribbean has mostly leisure routes but it's not just B6. DL now has more routes to the Caribbean out of JFK than AA.
Update: JetBlue Airways is planning to serve BGI with daily Airbus A321 service, adding up to 580 seats per week each way, starting 12/19/13. Additionally, JetBlue has filed to offer more capacity to Barbados during peak holiday times, including President’s Day and Easter, subject to receipt of government approval.
