QF12 is showing 80+ seats open
Qf 108 is showing 80+ seats also
For coming back
Qf 107 is showing wide open with 120+ seats
Qf 149 150+
Qf 11 100+
Have a good trip!!!
Sounds good, thanks.
Hopefully they can put us near some empty seats so we can stretch out (and sleep).
We're back. Got on both of our first choice flights with no problems.
But no chance of stretching out... I got middle 'B' seats in both directions. The planes were pretty much full.
At least you got on..........and had a free drink or two???!!!!
Be flexible as the flights may be weight restricted, and they will take off with empty seats.
Hi, this is my first posting to nonrev - what took me so long? am trying to nonrev zed lax-syd 17Feb and return 28Feb. Can anyone advise if that looks doable? The snow in the Midwest may make this difficult for me though! Also, would QF route me another way with just an lax-syd coupon? (eg, via Auckland or to BNE instead)And I can't find an official answer to whether JQ (Jetstar) would accept a QF coupon? If anyone has any advice, thanks!
I am traveling this route in about a month and the loads look fine from now all the way through on UA which I am taking not sure about QF but they have more flights so they should be ok try posting in the loads forum for QF loads. Your pass bureau or whomever issued the ZED should be able to tell you if the ZED is good on JQ, I know my ZED fare on QF is also good on JG flights but not sure what your agreement is.
My opinion on them re-routing you is I doubt it, maybe LAX-BNE because there mileage would be in the same ZED zone but even if they did I doubt they would route you down to SYD with-out the xtra coupons.. I would say buy some backups and refund them if they go unused..
Thanks for your reply, Ty. I agree with you about the coupons - makes sense. There is definitely confusion with JQ though - JQ people can't say whether they would accept a QF coupon (though it's not possible to issue a JQ coupon) and JQ won't even list you, saying QF should do it. QF says they definitely can't list you either. So it's like a no-man's land situation. I was hoping someone on the board had an answer as to how it really worked over there.
Again I would say that your pass bureau are the ones who have the agreement in place so they should know best this is a phone number from one of my HA ZED agreements for QF that says it is good on JQ (800)227-4500 "Employee/Retiree may ticket/purchase ZED tickets over any HA ATO/CTO or Rate Desk. Jetstar (JQ) are included i.e. QF5000-5999" That is from mine.. Check out the correspondents there is one from OZ that I am sure could help.
