I nonreved from Beijing to Manilia recently. It was wide open. Trying to get out of Manila was very tough this time around for me. I left Manila via Continental Micronesia to Guam, and connected all the way to Houston. Philippine Airlines was booked to the states until the 29th of April. I just got back last week, left Manila April 22. Call them, and definately have some back up plans. I originally tried to connect via NORTHWEST on a Zed Fare but it was FULLY BOOKED. This was the first time NORTHWEST ever failed me as a nonrev flying into Narita from Manila. I would have never guessed my own Continental airline would take me all the way to Houston via MNL-GUM-HNL-IAH, and especially the GUM-HNL route. HNL-IAH was a tight one too and I think we got the last two seats on the plane. CALL PAL before you go to the airport and HAVE A PLAN B. Good luck.
