I'm looking at the possibilities of non-reving to/from Noumea and/or Vanuatu next year around this time. So if anybody could check actual loads now, I figure it'll give me a fair idea of what to expect 12 months from now.
Am I better off going via Auckland or Sydney/Brisbane? How about Air Cailin from Tokyo? The latter would be the most convenient for me as I start my trip from northern Europe, however would leave me with very few options should I get stuck in Japan.

Any help or suggestion is appreciated.

Cheers

There's not a lot of flights and barely any back-ups to be had.
I'd be seriously considering snagging some www deals on virginblue.com.au and also watch aircalin and air vanuatu websites as well.
The NRT-NOU flight is operated pretty much as an Air France flight - AF feed a lot of people from their CDG-NRT flight onto the NOU flight.

If I were you I'd head down to SYD. (plenty of options) Then, I'd fly Air Vanuatu to VLI.
