Plan on non-reving to NRT tomorrow for the day, return Monday. Last time I was there, I remember the hotels close to the NRT airport are FAR from downtown Tokyo and the ones close to NRT are in the middle of nowhere. Anyone have any ideas or plan on flying out tomorrow to NRT???

Radisson in Narita is out there 30 mins thru the small town but all the major Tokyo hotels are 1-2 hrs on train

NRT for one day only? Stay in the airport. They have rooms there you can use, you put your name on a list, these cubicals with shower, small bunk. About 5 bucks an hour, but probably more now. (This was about ten years ago.) I used them alot to break down my trip a little, and get a hot shower before the long flight back to Conus. What's in NRT for a day? You just want to ride around? I know they have some aviation museum there in the airport. NRT is MAD, CRAZY, BUSY. Noone does English too well, and I don't do Japanese the same. Beer cost big bucks there in Japan. So does EVERYTHING ELSE.
