Hello Nick, thank you for the valuable information. I knew about Virgin but I never heard of Tiger...we will definitely check them out! Yes, I do work for WN. Is your friend thinking of selling those QF passes or trading them otherwise? We were thinking of going on UA (since I can jumpseat for nothing) and then getting UA zed fares for my wife and daughter, but if your friend wants to get rid of those QF passes we would definitely consider it.
