My RC is a Thai citizen. We non-revved to NRT and continued to BKK on a paid ticket on NH (great service, by the way.) They wouldn't board her on the return because she didn't have positive space NRT to the US nor did she have a Japanese visa. Only way to resolve issue at the last minute was to buy a refundable fare ticket NRT to HNL ($2700). Of course, no one asked to see it when we arrived in NRT and we went on our not so merry non-rev way.
