I guess it would depend on the political climate more than the summer season. Don't think I want to be in BKK if doo doo makes contact with the blades of a wind moving device while on a nonrev pass.

Aw, come on now mrs767er! No jumping off cliffs and now no interest in getting stuck in BKK in a political meltdown? Where's your sense of adventure?Don't get me wrong though - there's no chance I'm interested in either "opportunity".
BKK is a very easy city to non-rev to right now. The political problems scared a lot of tourists off, so the flights are wide open. The city is back to normal now, the red shirts are gone, the curfew is over. Great time to come over as a non-rev and visit Thailand.
