I went to the Octopus website and Discover Hong Kong website - Ding Ding Tram guide - and I found exactly what I was looking for - thanks again.

As far as Sushi goes, yeah after the first day I will more likely try other foods

You mentioned in your write up and your latest response to use the ATM for exchange. Is it because it is more convenient or the exchange rate is better at ATM?
    .
The Hong Kong section in Tripadvsor is HUGE, so I will make some coffee later and read, read, read.

I will check out the Star Ferry , Flower and Bird market, the Night market the runnery and 10,000 buddhas and the Zoo is definitely a must for me.

    Whew!
I wish my wife was coming this time around but at least I can "figure it out" - with all this help, this time around, so when they make the next trip we won't be fumbling our way through.

Time to get busy finalizing the trip, because I know how this thing works, I am planning to go mid April and I know it will be here in no time.

Thanks again I will provide updates when I can -

We use ATMs because ours has no fee at any machine--USBANK--or USAA
same exchange rate at any bank machne (not same w/private ones--like 7/11s etc)
Make sure you have HK$ for Octopus at airport. I think you have to go up or down from arrivals hall to get to the bank ATMs--just ask anyone w/badge.
If you have local library for HKG book--take a peek or take it w/you. You can get tons of apps thru TAdvisor--arent' those folks just SUPER???
