You mention a hostel but don't name it. What rate are you looking at at the hostel. Have you looked at hotels with airline rates?. The IBIS at North Point would be about USD 50 a night ( via Accor site using your airline access code ) and you can cancel up to the day before arrival without penalty. Not stayed there but its on the airport bus route and a short walk from the underground station.
