    Default ZED to BKK from east coast

    IF we live near IAD, Does it make more sense to go East or West when trying to ZED to BKK in August??

    I can use any in the ZED system so i think Singapore Airlines is out. I'm a WN employee so no international priorities

    Take United to NRT and JAL to BKK. (We can fly on both, though JAL is ID90). Or, you can take Emirates via Dubai.

    Would love to hear your take on BKK, too, SKC.
    I have 4 buddies going next month-I've been twice and planning for end April again. It's a great connector for most of SE Asia. Sorry to say, I just watched Hangover II and at least it ws kinda fun to see some of the locations on film--even tho the movie stunk (had a long flt to ATH yesterday)

    Sorry, HNL is the closest I've been to the Far East. I threw out those options solely from looking at our pass agreements on SWALife.

    More options from the West Coast. Getting into Bkk no problems but coming out different story... Back door thru TPE or Mnl. loads seem to be lighther than running thru NRT.
