It's impressive to see the amount of Filipino's I have seen all over the world working, away from their homeland, all driven by economics. The world taps in on the Filipino labor pool. For the most part, they get cherry picked for their education and are have great patience and work ethic. But what surpises me the most is their love of family despite the distances of separation and years of separation. They never forget their loved ones and they continously stay in contact as if they never missed a beat. To understand this you must see it first hand in their own country. Their love for one another holds true to the phrase "Blood is thicker than water".
This is not to say that Americans or anyone else doesn't love their family just the same, but Filipino's tend to really show it more. No matter where they may be in the world. Amazing.
