    Lightbulb Dependent age cutoff

Does anyone know what the age cutoff for dependents to fly non-rev is on BA? I am only knowledgeable about JetBlue, which is 24 years old, and a few other airlines in the US. It is pertinent for a person in our family that is about to turn 24.

    Thanks!

It probably depends on which airline you work for, but for United, the rule is "through age 23 if a full-time student" - I would interpret "through age 23" to mean "until the day you turn 24" but I'm not 100% sure on that.

Same with AS. Your ability to nonrev alone goes bye-bye on your 24th birthday.

Alone? Our non-deps can travel alone, but they have to buy non-dep far tkts. Our kids could begin travel alone as teens, dependent on ages.

Wow, mine could travel alone until age 24 (provided they were still full time students). No ticket needed unless they were flying ZED on another carrier.
