From a woman I work with, the Comfort Suites are next door to The Atlantis. Though she also said that every once in a while the Atlantis offers a industry rate of $75.00.
$75? Really? I had been told they normally offer an interline rate of 50% off the rack rate. A good deal, when you can get a room. I couldn't find anything when I was looking.

Did you ever make it to the Atlantis? We are going in October and would appreciate any info or advice. Did you find a way to get a discount on the rooms?
We are not going because of the lack of availability during the time frame the kids were on vacation. You can get an idea of the price by going to www.atlantis.com and looking at the room rates. If they have space they will offer you 50% off (or so they told me) but even that can be a bit pricey so bring lots of money! My neighbors went their for the weekend and said it was absolutely wonderful. They told me it was one of the most relaxing places they had ever been. Let me know if you make it!

Hi, my family went last August and had a great time. If you need information go to www.gocaribbean.com and click on the link for the Bahamas. It pays to be persistant when you call the Atlantis for a reservation. When I first called them, they told me that all the rooms for 50% off were gone. So I called every day until I was able to get a room for 50% off the rack price. Before I go on vacation, I send for travel brochures and maps of the places that we plan on visiting. I also read travel forums and trip reports that really give a honest opinion on your destination. If you need more information on the Atlantis, email me and I will be glad to help you.
