My wife and I wanted to pass along some helpful tips for those considering a vacation to Jamaica. The Sandals resorts offer a free day pass to airline employees!! We spent the day at Sandals Montego Bay and it was fantastic. With the day pass you get all the privileges as you would if you were staying as a hotel guest. Free use of the beach and recreation equipment, all-you-can eat and of course drinks. At the Montego Bay location, there's a boat that takes you out to a nice snorkeling spot. In a nutshell you get the whole enchilada for free that would otherwise cost you $350-$400 a day as a hotel guest or $99 per person if booked through a cruise ship as an excursion!! It's a great way to get a nice sampling of the Sandals experience, that otherwise may be beyond many people's budgets. The Sandals Dunns River is beautiful and our personal favorite for it's location near the town of Ocho Rios and the famous Dunns River falls. The falls are a can't miss and best done on your own outside of an excursion. Go later in the day to avoid the larger crowds. The day pass would be a nice deal at Dunns River or Ocho Rios as well. To get a day pass, e-mail the Sandals resort directly and tell them you're an airline employee. You'll need to show your badge upon arrival. Things may change, but we did this a month ago with no problem, so if you're planning a trip to Jamaica and considered Sandals but couldn't afford it, now's your chance!!!

    Good luck!

I was able to get my wife in. I don't know if they would extend beyond your immediate or eligible dependents, but you can certainly e-mail Sandals to find out what the limitations are.

    Good luck!

You need to e-mail the Sandals Royal Bahamian directly to find out if they offer day passes or not to airline employees. I would imagine so.

    Good luck.
