Thread: Cruise Vacations

You are probably right and I give no argument there, but listen to this. 5 years I spent on ships all over the world. I did it for the money and the travel but for every minute of fun I had overseas and in ports, I bet I had ten times more boredome while at sea. I kept myself busy and became almost like an incarcerated individual but with a paid job. It was a step above NAVAL vessels where they crammed us Marines in donut trays stacks to fit the most possible bodies in a berthing area. Plus nobody was trying to kill us with missles and mined filled waters. I can't see myself paying to get that same feeling again. I know cruise ships are different and offer more entertainment but I prefer to fly to get there. I don't want to do more time out at sea.
