    1. I have a few trip report links listed on my Chicago page that are dead. What should I do or what will happen? I noticed that the Trip Report tab on the old site isn't with us anymore.
    2. I have a couple of photo albums from the old forum that did not transfer. The post xferd but the photos themselves aren't there.

    Hi Randy,

You're one of our best contributors and I definitely want to get all of the great content you've produce for our community on to the new site. Once we get the forum smoothed out, I'll be adding blogs. Once they're installed, there will be a "Blog" tab in the middle of your profile page and everyone can see all the blogs you've contributed from there or by going directly to the blog area or a search.

It's my goal to get all the trip reports and articles from the Articles tab of the old site into blogs. The articles were one of the most labor intensive things that I did on the old site. Each page was manually created as well as a web page for each photo. Now it will all be automated and anyone will be able to add a blog at any time so the volume of content won't be limited by my availability.

I still have access to the old site and I'll do my best to ensure we get those photos over but it will be a manual process since they didn't transfer with the conversion. We will eventually have a standard way for posting photos. It's most likely we'll go with the photo gallery that this forum offers but I do want to check into a couple of more options before making the final desicion.
