Not a good start .. can't see any posts

You were trying to post to "News and Updates", which is a moderated forum. Moved your thread here.

I think you may have been referring to the default of the forums only showing threads less than 100 days old. There are controls to change that yourself, but I went ahead and changed the defaults to show more threads.

Thanks .. I can now see posts and display their contents .. I can now also access my profile however it looks like some of the settings do not work correctly. i have set up that the threads should be displayed in last post time order ( like the old site ) but this appears to be ignored and the threads are always displayed in alpha title order. Even if you update the thread controls in the drop down boxes on the page it will not display the correct way ... and also resets the choices back to the default of alpha order.

P.S. just seen this reply posted and signatgure pic does not appear to be shown ...

- Changed the board defaults to sort by last post time, descending ( doesn't address an issue about profile preference, but gets the job done for now...)
- Enabled signature images. You'll have to re-upload one though. The vBulletin import system only imports avatars, not much else in terms of pictures.
- The thread controls are working for me, so not sure what the issue is there

Tested a signature pic myself. It works, but you have to:
1. upload a signature pic.
2. press the button that says "insert signature picture"
3. save your signature.

Miss any of those and it doesn't work.

Also, it doesn't appear to apply to older posts, just ones you make after uploading the picture. I can run a sql query that will apply it old posts once you get one set up though. Just let me know.

Update: Closing thread...appears these issues are fixed.
