    I'm pretty sure NW would treat the flights as separate, but I vaguely remember hearing that that was going to change after the merger. Not 100% sure, but if you don't hear anything else you should be able to lean in that direction.

    if the flight number is the same all the way thru and you are listed on the thru flight then in the connection point you will be above all the folks on the standby list to board at the connection point...example if you listed pbi-ord on dl1522 then in atl you would be above those folks - however if you listed the legs seperately as dl1522 pbi-atl and then dl1522 atl-ord you would fall on the list in atl as usual you have to becareful when making the listing to make sure it shows as one leg and not two seperate legs...
