Delta interline in ATL

Hello everybody,

I work in CDG airport in Paris as a leader ground staff for Air France.

I've been flying non-rev on Delta for years and it used to be way easier.
DL and AF may be on a joint venture and therefore big partners it has become difficult to buy and fly DL. Can't wait to find you on my Idtravel in April.

Anyway I'm planning to fly DL171 next Wednesday the 2nd. I sent to my interline office the ZED tickets request procedure on Feb the 2nd. And I still haven't heard back from them and gotten my DL confirmation to issue my ticket to DL ticket counter.

Could you tell me if I can contact them a way or another to make sure they got my resquest and that they are processing it?

Allright I finally got my authorization... but only for the return!
I messed up filling the form with a not operating date flight and Delta didn't issued the authorization asking me to send another form with correct date. Bummer...

Delta staff in CDG had told me last week not to worry about the date since they make an OPEN reservation and when I come to Delta counter to issue the ticket I choose the correct flight and date.
Let's hope them to be a little faster this time since departure's due next Wednesday.

Why don't you just go to a AF ticket counter and buy a ZED ticket with Delta?
Or buy a ZED ticket issued for another airline and give it to Delta.

I do not understand very well why do you have to decide weeks before flying where do you want to fly later... it happened to me once trying to get to Morocco, with Royal Air Maroc, and ended up flying other airline because of the process (sending a letter, receiving the confirmation, going to a Royal AirMaroc ticket office in the city, issue the ticket, and then refunding the unused coupons...) I love the system of going to your ticket counter and issuing the ZEDs that you wish. Very straing forward.

I am also surprised.
We @ DL have zed LOW JV rates which are much cheaper than reg zed on OAL. We are now required to have e-tickets with AF now. I wonder if you have the same? Hope it all works out. Welcome and let u know if we can assist with loads, accommodation info (don't forget DL still has CDG to CVG) as a back-up option.
