    Default Oversold in coach

I'm planning on going to Seoul soon and the flights from ICN to dtw are oversold in coach on the way back by alot. I know sometimes they upgrade people into business when they are oversold- but with 35 open seats in business and oversold by 29 in the back do you think they will upgrade 29 ppl to not be oversold eventho the flat bed seats are so expensive now?

depends on the count of auth to sell
-29 is typical overage based on no-show
they only move rev pax up who don't have any seat
what are you prefd flight dates and I'll share what I'd recommend
are you using S2 with decent seniority?

We are planning to non rev Delta to Rome early sept fro LAX. We plan to arrive at LAX for the first flight out. Should be a tough nut to crack, we would consider purchasing a discounted ticket for non rev Delta. Never tried the discounted route. Any suggesions we. We are fairly new in the Non rev sphere. We have found Delta counter agents extermely coutrteousand helpful. Many thanks.

are in need of arriving on set date or are you flexible? by rev tkt, do you mean fly less or less and more ticket from LAX to FCO?
I would get as far as you can on DL metal, then get a zed or ID from another city like Paris or AMS to Rome.
we have many ways to reach Rome, you just have to get creative.
I'm available to answer Q's since I didn't go to Pisa with Boss tonight. Happy to help. Flying S3B as DL emp? There are some pretty creative folks here!

you should be in a fairly empty BE cabin! and I see you're the only active employee.
I see they're still selling 31 seats in coach, so no-show is a big factor. notoriously frequent occurrence w/Asia.
Enjoy!! I love the 777 (even those weird pods)

are you already in Seoul? I guess I'm confused about the dates to/from

you also have Korean Air to Narita--short flight and that gives you several options to get stateside.

    Edit today:
I see you got on and are relaxing in your 777 BE pod. Are your really only going for 2 days?
Return on 6th looks fine, despite those whacky #.
If you have any problems and have to stay--try Queen Hotel in Airport Town. Shuttle and cheap rates for airline. That's an experience in itself--steam shower, in room computer, BBQ joint a block away.

NRT/SEA and MSP are good on 7th BTW several nonrevs but most are not DL active
