well...my sister's husband is from England, but they live here in Minnesota. They're going over for a month-long visit, and my daughter is joining them for the first week. My daughter is going to babysit my sister's three little kids. They're staying with friends who live near the beach in southern England. My daughter is 16 (help!), and could probably return home on her own, but if something were to happen where she couldn't get on her flight, there'd be no one at the airport with her. Plus, when I go back to get her, we'll be spending the night at a hotel near LHR, and I'm looking forward to going into London that afternoon and showing my daughter where I used to live (went to school in London for my sophomore year of college). Spendy for the travel, I know...but it's a great opportunity for my daughter to spend a week in England--free room and board in exchange for some light babysitting duties.

Now...if I could only figure out where to send my boys during that week...lol

I certainly hope you both get the flatbeds--if she's never done the la di da Biz Elite on DL, she'll remember it forever! Sweet!
PS--you can now check-in online and print your seat request 24 hrs in advance [if you've never done that before]. Obviously you'll burn some S2s...Good luck!
