    Default Making connections in CDG??

    Hi,
    We will be arriving at CDG in the morning and trying to connect to an AF or easyjet flights. If we arrive at terminal 2e on Delta;
    1) for pass riding on AF, once we clear customs do we have to go to the ticket counter and then security again or can we go directly to the gate to check in? How hard to pass ride to Pisa?
    2) If taking easyjet using a real ticket, whats the procedure and how long does it take to clear customs and transfer to a different terminal, check in at the counter and go thru security ?

    Thanks,
    Deb

There is an AF transfer desk if you already have a record locator and e-ticket--just get checked in and follow thru to next gates via security.
Do you have CDG terminal map? That should help for AF.
No clue about easyjet--is it actually at CDG or one of the other Paris airports?

Easy Jet is in another terminal the T2 is for legacy airlines. Clearing customs depends on planes loads but it is much faster than the one in the Us. If you connect for an AF flight it will be easier,
Where are you trying to go?

We're trying to get to Milan, and take the train to Cinque Terre. If we can't get on in Atl,thinking of flying into Cdg and connecting to Mxp.We always buy back-up tickets just in case, and always travel in Sept/Oct.Thinking we might try mid May to first week of June.
Where is the AF transfer desk?Has anyone had luck flying on AF from Cdg to Mxp??

Why not fly ATL or JFK to MXP nonstop?

Flying n/s would be our first choice, but if flts.are full...want to have back up options.Delta has more flts into CDG,so thinking we have a better chance. Not sure how bad JFK is to pass ride on S3B.

Gotcha--I missed the "IFwe can't get on in ATL"
Don't forget CVG/CDG is still operating.
You can't miss the transfer area getting to other flights planeside.
The only time we had to go back out was for DL desk checkin inbound to CVG. I think was coming back from Morocco.
I'd choose AF over Alitalia if you have the option.
