Default Estimating cost of buddy pass

Any Delta people that can help me get a rough idea of the new costs?

When I flew in November/December my flights cost me 673.00 with original booking ATL-DTW-NRT-MNL and return. I changed routing several times on my own, finally doing ATL-LAX-NGO-MNL with no change in price, so buddy did not have to do the change. Now I understand it is something like an additional $50 per leg for fuel fees. So my question is, should I make my original booking the same way and if I get lucky and get out of and/or into Atlanta to NRT, there should be no worry about an additional charge? I has a check in at the hotel where I work today who said her buddy pass ATL-CZM was $373. My Daughters was $271 in January. At that price she can just go thru CUN without worrying about getting a seat.

I'm not quite sure what you're asking. I think you're referring to any BP bought prior to fuel charge then was changed got $50 OW added on to the "new" version of the BP. The $50 fuel surcharges will be included
now. I already explained to my nephew that when I change his ticket from January issue to return form EZE instead of SCL in the next few wks, he gets zapped. Mini$cule in the grand scheme of things!
From what I can guess, the $271 was without the fuel surcharge of $50 each way--voila--$373 now.
I recall the start date was end of Feb 2012.
