"Great" ! Western Airlines used to do that with Boeing 720B equipment - trade name "Fan Jet Commuter". Flights hourly to/from LAX-SFO and less frequently to LAS. The kicker was the aircraft was all coach seating and when substituted for the FC version caused a burp as the FC passengers had to be royally compensated; cajoled and bottle fed with complimentary booze - it was really that bad - the dreaded moment when you were working the gate and found out about the substitution - I am going home sick - or the pay was time and half. With this current schedule this will benefit flight crews that live in the other city to commute to work and offer non-revs an alternative work-around for difficult space available problems.
