Travelnet. Had neg numbers for our DTW-MCO flight July 10. Well we'll try anyway. OMG, we got to the gate, and FC!
Then on the return, low single positive numbers - but FC again! Holy cow!

Could be miss conx. We've had IROP 4x in June and already 3x in July. Consider yourself very lucky for now...
Ahhh, the nuances of reading the loads *wink*
Take a crack at this one
Ten non-stops flights ORD/LAX
Every flight is showing RED, over by 5 -10
The non-rev list for the first 5 (nonstop) flights of the day are as follows
1 - 24 listed with 14 of those Through pax
2 - 12 listed with 6T
3 - 18 listed with 8T
4 - 09 listed with 5T
5- 14 listed with 8T
etc, etc, etc
All 1stops out of ORD looked grim and DFW is a mess
At AA, Through pax are boarded before “local” with same boarding priority and I’m “local”- originating at ORD.
Translation, the highest I’ll be on that first flight out would be #15
So, what do I do?
1- Read the writing on the wall, change my flight to the next day, or the day after that.
2- List for the first flight of the day anyway; who knows I may get lucky
3- List for later in the day. Going for that first flight is good in theory, but in practice you spend most of your day sitting on the edge of your seat and traipsing from gate to gate; later in the day means less traipsing and less time sitting in the non-rev lounge hoping my half frozen take home pizza doesn’t melt.
4- List for a connections - BNA or LAS maybe
5- Drive to nearby city (and became an ORD T pax ( yeah the plot does thicken)
Veteran non-revvers, what do you think I did??????

Ditto. With 10 flights--start morning--bet you got on 1 or 2.

Ok, normally taking that first flight out is the way to go, BUT, when I saw the “perfect storm” of tight loads and a priority list heavy with rollovers and double digit Through pax - I knew there was little chance of me making any of those early flights.
M7, I was #16 on that first flight.
I chose option #3, re-listed for later in the day. Best-case scenario I’d make one of the late flights, in the worst I’m rolled over and higher up on “the list” the next day. *wink*
I made a late flight, me and quite a few other “locals”, some had waited all day; luckily none were carrying half-frozen pizza.
Yeah, sometimes it’s all about getting home with the souvenirs.

You get to move up next day if you list for a flight the day before? Wow--DL is strictly seniority/priority. Thru is only if same flight number--not that frequent these days.

Quick ZED question... How does ZED priority work in these situations? Behind all nonrevs listed that have direct privileges from the airline you're attempting to zed on?
Generally, as a rule of thumb, yes. Most airlines have ZEDs behind all other employees, eligibles, and buddies.
Couple exceptions I know of on United:
Star Alliance carriers generally fly at the same priority as United Express employees
Employees (not dependents) have the option to fly at a priority lower than ZEDs. It's a risky move, but if there's plenty of seats and very few (if any) nonrevs, it's worth considering. The upside of doing this is that if they still have a seat in First by the time it's your turn in line, there are no service charges for it. I've done that twice. Once on an A320 ORD-MSP with about 50 people booked and 2 other nonrevs, another on a CRJ-700 DEN-ASE with 4 other people (all misconnected the night before). Both times I was the only passenger in F.
