Your friend sent you a cut/paste that was lifted from DL website for employees/retirees, etc. Seems as tho it was intended to inform you, in case you didn't see it personally. That's a nice friend. It is against company policy to post direct quotes from the DL website. As I mentioned, I am guessing you didn't know that policy regarding social media. Please acquaint yourself with it. It is very obvious this was lifted from DLNet word for word; your post says that verbatim.
No need for !! and the shouting. I suggest you stand down and relax about this. After all this is the season to be jolly--Happy Holidays. All you needed to do was post a thread about the gist of the article to benefit Delta Nonrevs here who may not have seen it.
This update is also cited at DeltaNonrev facebook page (not copied). There are many comments you might want to read. I hope you do--there are some good, as well as some really ignorant people posting pertinent and impertinent comments. It can be entertaining, as well as frustrating to read some.
I think you're misreading the content, as it is a request to facilitate gate agents for OTD. Yes, there will be commuters/connectors at the last minute and they will have to deal w/consequences accordingly.
