Does anyone know if that stupid nonrev area on the lower level is still open? We never have to use it, but have some buddies passing thru who may. Please advise--thanks!

Do buddy pass riders still need to check in with an agent? On recent zed trips on DL, I've been able to either do online check-in on delta.com or use a kiosk. I haven't voluntarily checked a bag but every time at the gate, even on a revenue ticket, they make me gate check my rollaboard.

This would be IF they have to make a change, based on loads. They are flying to EU. They have carry-on. OALs have different parameters. Before, buddies had to go to the nonrev "office" on the lower level for any changes; otherwise they could check in on the kiosk. I believe it is closed, but waiting for confirmation. Thanks for the reply.

The stupid nonrev area below is closed. Traffic is a nightmare and it isn't any better because of G.O, Virginia and Camp Creek EMP busses drop off there. Do not drop. Up the escalator to the kiosk and use the North Security Checkpoint (Blue Side) to bypass the main line..

Good to know--one has to hand off his kids to parents, and has GE/Precheck to come back in from landside and the other will already be airside, coming from DAB. Thanks a bunch!
