Default New Paper zed and Paper ID Policy on DL

Please read very carefully, folks and don't panic!
    Basic deal is this:
DL going paperless for nonrev interline travel. Some paper agreements will become electronic; some will wither and die. Thai will convert but not until a few months after. Lots of deadlines to absorb if using paper.
Best news is NO MORE PAPER NONREV TKTS!!
There is also a memo about VX nonrev that might be of interest.
    Cheers!

DL has agreements w/150+ airlines. Some, like TG, have not stepped up in terms of technology for nonrev. They've seen the writing on the wall, as others have. Once ezed agreements are in place, they generate income for those unsold seats w/minimal fuss, so why not get with the program?

Likewise. I've nonrevved on DL on a few times and love the convenience of not having to deal with paper tickets.

Sucks we are losing fellow Skyteam partners like SU, KE, and RO.

    No more Air Canada either.

I guess I am the only one that liked paper? I liked that they were inter-changeable on other carriers.

I doubt if TG will take long to get as they show up on MyIDtravel through my companies access, even though we do not have an agreement with them. Some have tried and have made flights and others have not. You would think MyIDtravel would keep each companies list correct but we have a few airlines show up that we do not have official agreements with.
What gets me is OZ, DL does not have an agreement, UA is ID90T and we have a paper ZED. I asked our travel department why we have paper but UA has electronic and had some excuse. Makes no since. Maybe with DL going all electronic the airlines still using paper will do something.
I noticed that even the few airlines we have through ID90 that DL's list does not include them either.

V--AC, TG, BE (Flybe) and G.Lakes all plan to be on ezeds by May 1.
Offroader--I suppose some will get a clue and go to ezed program w/MyID.
I'm surprised @ KE and JL. When it takes so much effort to refund paper, it makes alot of sense to drop it. Aeroflot I understand; they've been stealing technology from the west for a long time (hehe). Maybe their sources have dwindled? Or too much bureaucracy?

According to DL documentation that our son checked, 9E parents should be OK for eZed on KL. When he tried to book us, myID says "not eligible".

I thought I'd run it by everyone here before he goes through the PITA process of getting an accurate answer from the Pass Bureau.

It can mean a lot to us since AMS is our #1 TATL focus point from JFK, BOS and DTW,
