Retiree and spouse coming into Frankfurt(1st time) around August 18 and have to be in Riga on August 25. Any suggestions for routing? Thinking about a couple of days to see the city before moving on to other locals. Assuming train is the best way to go, unless we spend the full week there and then fly to Riga.

I'd suggest that you fly .. Riga is a long way from Frankfurt through several countries and I'd doubt that there is a direct train .. and I think that 2 days on a train would be a waste ... then thats only my opinion.

Thanks. We just returned from the UK, doing Wales, Manchester, Liverpool and London. Everyone so nice and friendly. Can't wait to do that route again. (As we sit nervously awaiting what will happen at US Air.It tooklots of years to get those retirement benefits.)
