    Hi,

I know is mad to try LHR to U.S. in the summer but I have a wedding to attend in SEA. Of course I can fly with CO (my company) but I would rather go BA non-stop on the 744 with a ZED ticket. I'll try to go on THU 11 AUG.
HAs any of you tried this route before? THANKS!

The back up option is to check your carrier's agreements with AC to see if they have Zed with you. AC run 3 x daily LHR-YVR nonstop and BA also run LHR-YVR nonstop. YVR is not all that far from SEA - if friends can't pick you up, you have a heap of YVR-SEA shuttles on both AC and AS (Horizon) to use as well.

The BA nonstop to SEA leaves Thiefrow at 1445, but the AC's to YVR leave at 0840, 1425 & 1615 with the BA to YVR leaving LHR at 1715, so some sort of hard decisions would need to be made on the day of or day before departure, pending the loads on the nonstop BA to SEA.

    Igna,
Although its early days yet the loads around the 11th don't look that bad. As Al says you would need to check back a bit nearer the time.

    Hi huys,

Thank you very much for your feedback. Going to YVR is also a good possibility to consider.

PAul: If you can give me an update on the flight for 11 AUG will be great.

I know is still early days but at least to get a feeling of the flight.

Flights to YVR are a lot tighter now, SEA a bit tighter than before but still looks reasonable. SEA on the 10/12th also look reasonable.

Thank you for your reply Paul. I will come back in a couple of weeks before departure to check again.
    Thanks!

Both flights are now overbooked in M. The 11th only slightly and the 12th more so but both still have 20+ seats in Traveller Plus and Business and less than 10 listed at the moment though still early days. For reference the YVR flights are over in all classes both days.
