DL 66 ATL-ZRH August 2 there are 22 biz available and 54 in the back
DL 67 ZRH-ATL August 31 there are 24 biz available and 54 in the back
Is too early to determine if those flights will be available for those dates.
August is not that bad. Normally June is the hard month, but even this month it looks good. S4's are getting on almost every day.
Until last month the airline was offering double miles for ALL tickets on both 66 and 67. This made the flight quite hard to get on, but now that the promo has expired, its been good. The only other thing to note about Zurich is that we sell 36 Biz Elite seats, but we have 2 versions of the aircraft that flies the route...one has 30 seats (Gulf version of 767 with 2nd door) and other has 36 seats (normal version with no 2nd door). Because of the lighter loads, ZRH generally gets the Gulf version so its good to factor 6 less seats in the numbers that you see for sale. They don't decide till the day of departure which aircraft they will use, so there is no way to plan for it.
Thanks for the very useful information. I may post again in a few weeks, if you wouldn't mind checking your "sources" again re: how many S4's are getting aboard.
FYI, I made both flights, in business class! What a joy.
