United doesn't fly to Venice - In Italy we fly only to Rome out of Dulles. Usually we book passengers going to Venice on our flights into Frankfurt, then put them on a codeshare operated by Lufthansa into Venice. Check if Republic has an agreement with LH, because your agreement with UA doesn't carry over to codeshares.
