Thread: Hotel near MXP?

Any recommendations for an inexpensive hotel near MXP? I am traveling with my husband, mother-in-law, and two kids (2 yr old and 6 year old). Ideally, we would like to squeeze into one room and save the expense of booking an extra room since it's just for 1 night (11/29-11/30). We'll be driving in from Nice on the 29th and leaving for home on the morning of the 30th, so we want to be near the airport.

I did find a very good rate at the Novotel - King sized bed with a sleeper sofa for EUR 72. Any idea if that would be enough room for us? I would expect our older child to sleep with us in the King bed with us; and 2 year old and mother-in-law on the sleeper sofa...but not sure if the sleeper sofa would be big enough? Thoughts? We have a king at home and have slept with all four of us on a few occasions. Is the King bed in Europe the same as a King in the U.S.? Other suggestions for inexpensive hotels near the airport?
