When would you be going? What kind of info would you like? We've flown out of Beijing. When we flew out, there were about 90 passengers on a 777. It took forever for the Chinese crew doing the check in to get to the non revs. Our impression was if the plan had been fuller, we would not have made it. I don't know if this is typical. CO has a flight from EWR to PVG.
Hi meandfive....
Living in France I plan to travel OW CDG to SHA to join a Costa Cruise to SIN and the info I am looking for is if any difficulties arise out of the fact that I shall be travelling on ZED tkt i.e. with no reservation.
No problem for the way out since I shall be holding a confirmed cruise tkt.
Could not get many infos in my side of the world.......
Tks for help.
We may do DTW to AMS for 3-4 days in May. Any central location hotels that include breakfast? We don't mind paying $$, but want to get" bang for the buck"!
I've non-revved to Shanghai and Bejing on United probably 8 or 10 times from SFO. I was never asked for any onward tickets and have never had any problems with customs or immigration. The Shanghai airport is really nice.
The only problem I had was one time a Beijing United CSR tried to snake me out of a first class seat, claiming that I hadn't listed for it. BS- she wanted the seat for a buddy.
Thanks drewmeister_sd
I only hope that the Chinese Consulate people in Paris are as good as those in USA.........they ask for p/copy of confirmed tkt and accomodation plus a wagon of details.
Let's be positive and demonstrate that Murphy's law does not always apply.
Have a nice Sunday.
