    Default Back from PRG

Just returned from my mission trip to Prague last week and have finally readjusted to the heat of north central TX.

Flew UAX (YV) DFW-IAD, UA IAD-FRA, and LH FRA-PRG. Jumpseat all the way to FRA, so it only cost me ~$60 for the final segment. FRA is currently at the top of my list of non-travel-friendly airports. That place is messed up.

Absolutely loved Prague. Temps were in the mid 70s all week. Saw buildings that were already 1000 years old when the US became a country. Can't duplicate that kind of thing here in the states. Great public transport system that made it easy to get around. Avoided the pickpockets! Look forward to making it back sometime.

The trip home was LH PRG-FRA-IAH, then UAX IAH-DAL. Opted for the eZed out of FRA because I was tired of trekking around that airport to the different UA gates to get a ride home. FRA-IAH was on an older 744 that didn't have the new seats/AVOD and sat behind the chump that had to have his seat fully reclined for 9 of the 10 hours enroute. Aside from that, LH had amazing service.

Great trip, and thanks for those that offered tips a few months ago.

Never been further east than PRG, but my parents really enjoyed Hungary and Romania when they visited a few years ago.

Glad you enjoyed Prague. One of my favorite cities. Next time there try a day trip to Kunta Hora for the bones church. An overnight trip to Cesky Krumlov is great as well.

Been to Budapest, Nearly as spectacular as Prague.

(Dang, just realized it has been 2 years since my last trip to Prague- SAN to IAD on UA. IAD to FRA on LH (sweet business class!), FRA-PRG LH. Return was LH PRG-FRA, UA FRA-ORD and ORD-SAN.
