Alitalia could run out of cash by May
Be cautious flying on Alitalia. Air France's 25% stake is running thin and losses are still building. Could possibly go on strike before summer, Italian newspapers reporting. ZED's will become an issue in MXP,FCO. Use EasyJet, RyanAir, KLM, or LH as some routes are similar to get out...

Hmm, was planning on Rome in mid-June. May have to rethink that.
We had some nonrevs in here on a cruise 2 yrs ago--June timing. Took them several days to get back AND there was no strike/ash cloud/bankruptcy. 2 of them had to buy tkts on DL to return. Beware the ides of June...(and July)

I think we're looking at other European options prior to PRG again this year. Maybe UK. Who knows.
