For visitors from green countries, which currently includes the US, France does require a negative covid test if you are not current on your vaccination “A vaccination certificate is considered valid when entering France if the document proves that the holder has completed primary vaccination within the last nine months or has received a booster shot.”

For the unvaccinated, “
Unvaccinated persons reaching France from a green country can either present a valid recovery certificate or a negative test result that has been taken recently to be allowed restriction-free entry.”

That said, I would love to do a long weekend in Paris but am hesitant due to the return testing requirements regardless of vaccination status.
