    Ripped jeans are "EXTREME" casual! But for real, I would still wear the travel/slacky athletic wear pants (not leggings!) even in economy - and I have with Asian carriers since they're even more strict. Long haul in jeans is just so uncomfortable though, maybe that's a ladies vs. men thing.

    Yeah ripped jeans just scream "EXTREME" casual. You know it wasn't that many years ago that AA's Travel Guide listed "torn, dirty, or frayed clothing" on our NEVER appropriate list and you couldn't jumpseat in jeans - how times have changed
