Thanks Coyne! Hi Christin!

There are 3 ways you can find info on our pass agreements.

1) Do you have access to the Freedom Net at work? If so then you can click on the Pass Bureau link to find all the agreements. This feature cannot be accessed from home.

2) If you work at LRC or LIT you can find this info in DRS. Depending on where you work will depend how you get in - ask someone at work or let me know where you work and I can tell you. LRC and LIT have completely different systems that access the same info so the way your get in is very different.

3) Write the pass bureau with a check for $6.00 (this includes postage) and they will send you the current 2002 Interline Travel Guide (ITG). The publication contains over 200 pages of all the information you need about our agreements. I order one every year and is ususally the way I plan a trip. When I'm at work I seldom think to look at the FreedomNet or DRS or am too busy.

You will still need to do the footwork yourself, finding out who flies where and which carrier(s) best fits your needs. But when you do settle on 1 or 2 options you can then call the Pass Bureau for a quote.

There are a few carriers that offer a flat service charge which you won't need to call about. But those that offer ID90 or ZED ageements that are based on distance you will need to call to get a quote.

Then ask your supervisor for a PB-017, the Pass Bureau other airline request form. Once you fill it out you will need to have it signed by your sup. or admin. who will then fax it to Dallas. Most requests take about a week, some longer, the ITG will let you know how long. For a $6 charge (payroll deducted - as are most passes) you can have the pass overnighted to you or your parents via FedEx.

You mentioned this is for your parents. This is all assuming that you designated your parents as pass eligible when you were hired. If not then talk to your sup.

For a great list of Interline discounts other than air you can visit our Portal page by clicking the following link: http://www.nonrev.net/portal/ This is an extensive list of Interline Travel Agencies, etc. that offer discounts to airline employees (this is not Southwest specific). The Agencies page is, in my opinion, by far the most helpful.

I hope all this helps. If not, don't hesitate to ask. Now order a pass and go somewhere!!!
