Thread: Taxes on Delta (Buddy Pass)

    I was using the VLU unit to find fares. I found that ATL to Gatwick was 111.11 each way, but is said there may be additional taxes.

    Anyone know what that might be?

    The UK charges a luxury tax if you travel from the UK in either business or first class. There may be other taxes but this one used to be around 40 Euro.

    Depending upon the way your system calculates fares the following additional taxes will apply:
    UK APD departure tax GBP 20
    UK PSC departure tax GBP 8
    plus the following may also apply
    Fuel surcharge .. up to GBP 24 per sector
    Security surcharge up GBP 2.50 per sector

    You also of course have the array of US taxes which normally amount to about GBP 25
