    Hi,

I have a Delta Companion pass, and recently when I was making payment (no Delta Direct), I was told that payments were no longer going to be accepted at the counter, and until then, a $15 fee was going to be applied. I was instructed that all payments need to be made online. Online??? Can I register somewhere to have access to a system of some sort, or do I need to have the pilot who gave me this flight pass make payment for me to avoid the $15 surcharge? If the pilot needs to make payment, can he use my credit card? Any help with this is, of course, greatly appreciated.

    Thanks, Wade

    Hey Wade -

Yes, all employee non-rev travel issues are to be booked on Travelnet - it would be best to have the employee who has you listed as their companion do the bookings for you on Travelnet, that is the preferred method, but not the only method...If that is not a possibility (I have a companion who lives in another time zone so I am not always able to do his bookings) use the Delta Direct phones and the Direct Ticketing charge - $15 - is not applicable for any Non-Rev ticketing issue and should not be charged for issuing a ticket...
