If Jet Blue issues me a voucher that specifies travel via say US Air to a particular destination--can I go back to Jet Blue and have that particular voucher changed for another destination or have I lost the $$ I paid for the original voucher. This may be a very elementary question for many of you but being new, I find the whole process somewhat difficult to understand. I already have the voucher and cannot use it for the designated location and date. How would I handle this?

Let me ask you a question just for verification. When you say "voucher" do you mean a "nonrevenue space available" pass or ticket? Such as those issued by your pass bureau/staff travel office? I'm guessing yes. And, if that's the case then the answer is generally yes to your change question.

Most passes are changeable, and if not changeable then refundable and issuable. Some agreements have svc. charges for such things and there are exceptions on some agreements. The best thing to do is contact your pass bureau and ask them what the procedure is. Or, your employee web site may have the answer.

I hope this helps. If my assumption in paragraph 1 is incorrect then the preceeding information may not be valid. You'll need to contact the issuing party for your answer.

    Welcome aboard!

You have assumed correctly. Thanks so much for your reply. Because I would be traveling on another airline rather than Jet Blue, I found it a bit confusing.
