As anyone who works for an airline will tell you - the fares aren't supposed to make sense! Actually, competition plays a large part in the price structure of a particular destination so maybe ord/pit has little competition but abe has more OR the airline could be getting a subsidy to fly out of the smaller airport thus a lower fare.
