Hi, I was just wondering if DL has considered getting rid of the ID90's and replacing it with ZED. All other airlines have it and it sounds like a luxury when traveling internationally. Do most all airlines have ZED?

Our Pass Bureau has been toying with the idea of switching over to ZED fares - but as of yet no announcement has been made to switch..

What exactly is ZED? Is it a buddy pass?

I did see an announcement from Delta late last year saying they were working on ZED fares and they would be available some time this year. So far haven't heard any though.

I sure hope that Delta goes ahead with the ZED fares.
Southwest just got ZED fares.
Would make it easier for non-revving if we all could use ZED fares

I was reading a Q&A about all of the new stuff that will be happening with the new Air France alliance and one of the questions was about employee non-rev travel. The answer was that current ID-96 travel policies will remain with no changes planned except for the changing to ZED fares next year -- so it appears that ZED fares are still being worked on for Delta non-rev travel.

All I can say is that when I called the pass bureau about something else, I asked about Zed fares. Response: "We don't do fares here. You'll have to go the ticket office." Didn't even ask what a "zed" was...

Is there a "pass bureau"? I tried to contact them before I resigned and came to the conclusion it didn't exist anymore. I wanted to have a contact to let them know about The Nonrev Network once the new site was up and running.
