Sept 11 memorial to airline employees in Texas

"A memorial to pilots and flight attendants who died in the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks is taking shape in the flight path of the Dallas-Forth Worth Airport."

The 18-foot high bronze work will depict two pilots, two flight attendants and a young passenger."


Thirty-three crew members were killed when terrorists hijacked and crashed two American Airlines flights and
two United Airlines flights on that day."

"The dedication will take place on July 4th, 2008 in Grapevine, Texas from 10AM til noon. The location of the dedication is at the intersection of State Highway 26 and Texan Trail in the Grapevine Station Mall."
